Day 76- Capitol Dome

I'm cheating again today but I got so many good pictures on my trip that I have to share them. The sun is suppose to come out again tomorrow so I'm going to try to get some new pictures.

These pictures are some of the ones I took in the Capitol. This is the dome and the art work is so amazing.

Settings:
Picture 1 f/5.6, ss 1/60 sec., ISO-400
Picture 2 f/5.6, ss 1/200 sec., ISO-200
Picture 3 f/3.5, ss 1/800 sec., ISO-200

I also love the Iwo Jima Memorial. It is another of my favorites. I got more of a silhouette picture for this one because of the lighting/rain. This one turned out better than one I took a few years ago.

  2. Wonderful! The details on the ceiling and walls are magnificent. Your enlarged photos really show the craftsmanship. I really like the silhouette of the Iwo Jima memorial. Nice shooting.
