I love books like that and love your rational, I was going to ask how the book recommends pronouncing

But as I didn't hear if my Moon Shot advice was helpful, was a bit reluctant, ah what the heck.
Ha! I don't think that word was even around back in 1873. And yes, the moon info was helpful. I just don't seem to be able to get the kind of shots I want. Maybe I should invest in a new lens. lol I will have to add that to my wish list.
ReplyDeleteThe very selective focus echoes the very selective pronunciation required by the text.
ReplyDeleteI think I need that book! :)
ReplyDeleteRe the Moon and clouds, I would experiment with the 18 - 55mm lens on start fields and light cloud with night landscape settings, see what that brings then switch to the 55 - 200mm lens and try your star settings to get the cloud and moon glow, then switch it to daylight with flash and see if that give the Moon detail you want.
ReplyDeleteYour glass should be fine, it is about what I have.
I really like both these shots but especially the first one with the very narrow depth of field highlighting the appropriate text. Well done and what a neat book to have.

Funny how you got a little mini-photography pronunciation lesson with your photo. :-)
