We closed today and we are now home owners! This is our first home so we're super excited. Now if I could magically wiggle my nose and make everything more itself we'd be set!

We are moving this weekend. I have boxes stacked all in the bedroom. I haven't started packing yet. Instead I took a picture of the boxes. I keep putting it off but moving day will be here before I know it!

This tulip has started drying out on the edges. Looks like they won't be around much longer.

Don't be shocked if I'm not able to post on a regular basis the next several days. We are closing on the house Friday and moving this weekend. I'm trying to get sub plans ready for Friday and Monday for my sub (I teach 5th grade). I haven't had phone/internet service transfered yet. I'll be taking pictures (if I can find the time between the boxes) and try to get them posted once we get moved in. So starting Friday it may a few days before I can post.

The roses in front of our apartment are blooming. I'm sad because this will be the last year I get to enjoy them. They are rose bushes my husband's grandmother brought here when she moved years ago. She has since passed but we still have the beautiful flowers here to remind us of her. We are moving Saturday! I hate the thought of moving but I'm so excited about the new house.

I went to Panoply today with my 5th grade students. We were eating lunch and I wasn't eating (no shock there). I was looking at the sky and decided to lay back in the grass and take a picture. My kids know how crazy I am so they didn't think a thing about it.

There is also a pond in the park. It was great because I had lots of kids with food around me. It really brought in the animals.

I am in charge of the morning news program at school. I have a little girl in my class who does "Critter Corner" where she focuses on different animals. A sub has animals and she brought baby ducks in for us to feature on Critter Corner. Here are a few pics I took of the ducks.

I made my husband go with me today to take pictures of these flowers I saw on the side of a back street. He gets mad at me if I stop by myself to take pictures so he always goes with me. Here are the best shots.

And I take all these pictures of beautiful flowers and I think the best picture I got today was of this weed.

I went out after school today and took some pictures of the flowers that are blooming. We planted a lot of flowers and things around the school campus in the fall. So these are the best shots.

It was a crazy day today so all I shot was this pine cone. Well, I did take a few more pics of my new house. The kitchen is done and so is the bathroom so I took a few shots of that. I didn't figure you guys wanted to see more of that. :)

The apple tree is in full bloom. The little white and pink flowers are so pretty. I spent some time tonight standing in front of the tree trying to get some good shots. I even managed to capture a bee. I'm not patient so this is as good as it gets when it comes to me and live bugs. I do much better with bugs that have pins stuck in them. Which shot is your favorite?
