Don't You Hate It...

...when you forget the camera. I normally take my camera with me everywhere I go. But for some reason when I went out today I forgot the camera. I realized it once we were too far away to turn around and come back. Then you see 100 things you could take pictures of, if you only had a camera.

Day 147- Wild flowers

I got to school early today (as usual) but there were no children there to prepare for. The other day when we had field day I noticed these wildflowers and knew I would have to go back and take pictures of them. So I took my extra time this morning to do just that. These things were as tall as I am (which is pretty tall). I can't decide which one I like the best so I posted them all.

This didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it to. I went out with Chris to water the grass and saw this balloon. I ran in and got the camera. When I got back outside I realized I needed a different lens. By the time I ran back in and out the door it was gone behind the trees. So this is as good as it got today.

I have a few pictures I wanted to share of me and my BFFs. We teach 5th grade together and have a lot of fun! We are best friends away from school too. Most of the pictures with me in them were taken by one of my 5th grade students. He has learned to use my camera.

This last one was taken at the school dance last Friday. I took pictures of the kids on the stage to help raise money for our D.C. trip next year. Here is one that was taken of me by Kelly. She was helping me and she had to take a picture of me and one of my students.

I made these. The teachers at school gave me a housewarming party so I wanted to make a special thank you card to give to each person.

I'm also posting a couple of picture of my stamping room. I have been working a week on this room and that is why I haven't been posting pictures. I'm happy with the results so far!

I love the lighting in my new house. With the blinds open I didn't even need a flash. I haven't posted in a week because things have been crazy! The end of the year at school is always a crazy time. To top it all off the battery in my car died Thursday morning so I had to take off and take care of that. Then I've been setting up my stamping/photography room. I will post pictures soon!

This is a clock my dad gave me. I love how the pendulum blurred but I'm not crazy about the reflection in the glass. I'll have to see how to get rid of that.

This has got to be my favorite April picture. I love all the flower pictures I posted but this has to be my favorite. I love the way the DOF turned out. It really helps to focus your attention on the dandelion.

It is teacher appreciation week. One of my girls brought me these. So pretty! Of course I had to pull out the camera and take a few macro shots. It has been a few days since I've taken pictures so it was nice to be able to take a few shots.

Quick Update

I don't have any new pictures to post. Just wanted to do a quick update to let you all know I have Internet again. Wow, I was going into withdrawals without it. Looks like the wireless router decided to start working again. Hopefully I'll be able to snap some new pics tomorrow and post. This weekend has been so hectic with moving and we didn't really make a dent in it. We are in the house but still have several rooms at the apartment to move. We'll get there... it might just take a while.
