I helped my husband move some of his models in tonight. I made 20 trips up and down the stairs for these. This isn't even 1/2 of them!

I really needed the flash and tripod to take this in manual but I just didn't have the energy to go back down the stairs to get them.

Another of my favorite things at our new house is the yard. Our front yard is tiny but the back yard is huge. I love having a big back yard. Chris isn't crazy about cutting it but he is so funny. He has been watering it to try to get the sod to green up. So far so good!

I have been struggling with something to take pictures of the last several days. So, since I've been in my new house for over a month now I thought I would highlight some of my favorite things about my house. Number 1 on my list is central heat/air. We didn't have it in the apartment and I'm loving it!

This is the sky after the storm. These shots were taken looking two different directions. Hard to believe the same sky can look so different in two directions.

Bamboo Pen & Tablet?

Anyone have a Bamboo Pen & Tablet? I looked at them last week and I've been thinking about it since. I don't do a lot of editing on my photos but it looks like this might make it easier to do. Just thought I'd get some feedback if anyone has one.

I saw there were clouds around the moon tonight so I had to go out and try to capture a nice shots with some clouds in it. When you have to expose to get the clouds to show up you don't get the nice craters in the moon to show up. I'm still happy with the way these two turned out. Just not as sharp as I'd like.

I went to the doctor in Decatur today. I went by the river to take a picture and there was a train on the tracks. So it was blocking my view. So I drove over to old Decatur and took a few pictures. The last one is of the Old Bank Building.

Saw this little guy on some weeds in the back yard. I ran in to get the camera and he was still there when I got back. I took several pictures but between him moving and me breathing I couldn't get a lot of clear shots. I got some great blurry ones though. These are the best 2.

This barn and corn field is right on a very busy road. There is no place to pull off to take a picture and it's not like I can stop in the middle of the street. On the way back home today the traffic was backed up and I was excited. I pulled out the camera and took this from the car window while my husband drove.

I've been wanting to take a picture of this wildflower because I keep seeing it on the side of the road. Then when I got out in the back yard I found some growing close to the fence.

I got Chris to take me out to take some pictures of the power lines that are just down the road from our house. I was out exploring the other day and thought they would make some cool pictures. They aren't in a good place to just pull off the road so he took me out.

If you look real close in this one you can see the prison tower on the right.

I'm amazed that this fly stayed still long enough for me to snap off several pictures (and focus the macro lens). The two I posted here are the best I was able to capture.

I went out back and this little guy was sitting in the backyard next to the patio. I can't believe it was still there after I went in to get the camera. So as soon as I started taking pictures it started fluttering around. These are the best pics I got.
